Business law is the body of rules, regulations, and legal principles that govern the formation, operation, and dissolution of businesses and commercial transactions

This program will introduce participants to the legal foundations of business, with a focus on contracts, negligence, product liability, trademark and copyright, so they can recognize, reason about, and respond to the legal issues they will meet as entrepreneurs, employees, and consumers. By exploring core business law concepts early, students gain a practical vocabulary and a habit of mind that will serve them in college, in their careers, and in everyday life.
