Architecture is the art, science, and practice of designing and building structures, especially those that provide shelter and habitable spaces for people. It sits at the intersection of creative expression, engineering stability, social purpose, and environmental context.

This program introduces participants to architecture as a way of seeing, thinking, and making. They will learn to observe and record buildings through freehand sketching and measured drawing. They will analyze how site, structure, material, and history shape a building. They will learn how structure works, how materials join, and how a drawing becomes a built object.
